Program Overview

The University District Development Corporation (UDDC) Mobile Market is a community-focused health initiative designed to address food access challenges in the city of Little Rock. By bringing a fully-stocked grocery store directly to neighborhoods and community partners within the City of Little Rock’s wards:

  • Ward 1
  • Ward 2
  • Ward 6
  • Ward 7

We aim to increase community members’ access to fresh, healthy, and affordable food options while empowering individuals to make informed dietary choices.

Ways to Pay

You can purchase on site, we accept cash, credit, debit, EBT, SNAP, and WIC at checkout.

What We Offer

To help address this food insecurity issue, the Mobile Market is stocked with a wide variety of essential food items, including fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, lean meats, whole grains and panty staples. We prioritize sourcing local and sustainable products whenever possible to support local farmers and reduce our environmental footprint.

According to Aspire Arkansas, recent data shows that 52% of census tracts in Arkansas are food deserts. This was 14 percentage points higher than the proportion for the nation of 38%. This makes Arkansas ranked 46th in America including all 50 states and Washington D.C. In addition, 61% of census tracts in Pulaski County are food deserts.
